Existem 4 tipos de incontin\u00eancia urin\u00e1ria:<\/p><p>\u00b7 Incontin\u00eancia urin\u00e1ria de esfor\u00e7o (IUE): Perda urin\u00e1ria devido ao aumento brusco da press\u00e3o intra-abdominal. O sintoma inicial \u00e9 a perda de urina quando a pessoa tosse, ri, faz exerc\u00edcio, movimenta-se;<\/p><p>\u00b7 Incontin\u00eancia urinaria de urg\u00eancia (IUU): Perda urin\u00e1ria acompanhado de desejo intenso de urinar e dif\u00edcil de controlar \u00e9 mais grave do que a de esfor\u00e7o, caracteriza-se pela vontade s\u00fabita de urinar que ocorre em meio as atividades di\u00e1rias e a pessoa perde urina antes de chegar ao banheiro;<\/p><p>\u00b7 Incontin\u00eancia mista: Associa os dois tipos de incontin\u00eancia acima citados e o sintoma mais importante \u00e9 a impossibilidade de controlar a perda de urina pela uretra.<\/p><p>\u00b7 Incontin\u00eancia por Transbordamento: Geralmente associada a um problema neurol\u00f3gico, ocorre perda urin\u00e1ria sem sentir vontade de ir ao banheiro.<\/p><p>A incontin\u00eancia urin\u00e1ria atinge aproximadamente 5% da popula\u00e7\u00e3o mundial de todas as idades, acometendo com mais frequ\u00eancia mulheres e idosos, segundo dados da Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Mundial de Sa\u00fade (OMS). S\u00e3o 10 milh\u00f5es de brasileiros com esta condi\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p><p>As condi\u00e7\u00f5es que levam a incontin\u00eancia urin\u00e1ria podem ser relacionadas ao envelhecimento, fraqueza muscular, fatores gen\u00e9ticos, hormonais, tabagismo, obesidade, m\u00faltiplas gesta\u00e7\u00f5es, partos vaginais complicados, bexiga hiperativa, tosse cr\u00f4nica, les\u00f5es medulares, doen\u00e7as do sistema nervoso, aumento prost\u00e1tico entre outros.<\/p><p>O principal objetivo dentro do trabalho da fisioterapia p\u00e9lvica \u00e9 o ganho de for\u00e7a dos m\u00fasculos do assoalho p\u00e9lvico (per\u00edneo), reeducando e coordenando os m\u00fasculos da regi\u00e3o para melhora da fun\u00e7\u00e3o. Para isso utilizo v\u00e1rios recursos como a cinesioterapia (terapia pelo movimento), eletroestimula\u00e7\u00e3o, biofeedback entre outra t\u00e9cnicas para manter a contin\u00eancia urin\u00e1ria. A fisioterapia tamb\u00e9m pode e deve ser usada de forma preventiva, evitando principalmente a flacidez contra\u00e7\u00e3o dos m\u00fasculos da regi\u00e3o genital criando um par\u00e2metro de compara\u00e7\u00e3o para as pr\u00f3ximas p\u00e9lvico de forma muito mais r\u00e1pida, pode ser utilizado no canal vaginal no \u00e2nus ou na superf\u00edcie da pele (nas crian\u00e7as por exemplo). Ela pode afetar ambos os sexos, por\u00e9m \u00e9 mais comum entre a popula\u00e7\u00e3o feminina. O transtorno afeta a qualidade de vida da mulher, o relacionamento com o parceiro e at\u00e9 a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de exames ginecol\u00f3gicos. Ela \u00e9 dividida em 2 grupos: a dispareunia superficial e a profunda. Na primeira, a dor est\u00e1 localizada na abertura da vagina e \u00e9 sentida com a penetra\u00e7\u00e3o.
